San Jose to LAX.

Well it's time to say Adeiu to Costa Rica.
We had to stop and turn in the rental car before heading out to the airport. This car has travelled with us all over the country. We will miss it.
This is our ride to the airport.
I'm actually ready to head home but not as ready as Javier is to be back in the states.
Do you see that guy zip-lining through the airport. Its not a real person but proof that's what they sell here as the go to activity. Its a must experience I must say.
Come on, I'm so excited to board and get this final leg of the trip over with. Its hours till I see my babies again! hours people this is crazy!
We are boarded and ready to go.
It has been an early morning and a long trip.
Bye Bye Costa Rica!
The view on take off was just as awesome as all the views on this trip!

 LAX here we come!
Yup we have arrived in LA. Can you see all that smog. Not pretty!
we have arrived!! we are so happy to be back on U.S. soil.

 Customs clear!
I spy family! At the end of this hallway is FAMILY!
 We found them!
 Hugs all around

We are so totally stoked to all be together again! This is one awesome day for our family! So proud of them all. my heart is very full as I witness all that they have accomplished.
We asked Javo what he would like for his first meal home. He said Red Robin. Where else?. Dinner and then a long drive home. giddy here! Can't wait to sleep in my own bed tonight. Good night all! hope you enjoyed the journey like we did.

Manuel Antonio!

I always thought I come from San Diego. People travel from all over the world to visit this great city. The reality is there are WAY better beaches around the world to visit. We started the day entering the national Park. We were one of the first visitors and we opted to not do a tour. We are avid hikers so we figured we could really explore on our own and on our own pace. We started walking the trail and cam across some pretty awesome Monkeys.
We even saw a mommy Monkey and her baby hanging on her back. Such an awesome site!
We found a beach with no footprints.
Seriously the only footprints are the ones we made
look at that beauty! No words. This is the best way to end the trip!
These are some of the best looking boys in this country right now!
We found hermit crabs. Tons of hermit crabs!
This is such an awesome moment. We love exploring with animals.
 Wait! Be a statue Dante!
I can just hang out on the beach all day!

So much wild life. This isn't a zoo people. I'm so excited!

Javier tried to get a hermit crab fight going.
he was unsuccessful so he just picked one up
take my Picture with this beauty! YES SIR!
That poor hermit crab has a long way to his destination.
We explored where others didn't go. We were alone on this beach for sometime

The water was so warm.
we found a little private cove to hang out in.
We have had such a great trip.
We think this is what the Caribbean must be like. Warm, beautiful and not so crazy crowded.
one last swim before we hit the road back to San José.
The walk back to our room to pack up wasn't as fun. ;)
We took the longer scenic road out. It meant a little longer walk but we got to explore a little more.
We cam across this sign on our way out. Did you see the photos yesterday? We were swimming just on the other side of here. WHAT! crocs near by.. oh man!
 More creatures to check out.
coconut milk is so good when its fresh.
 yummy!
We hit the road and travelled back to San Jose to catch a very early morning flight. WE stopped to have dinner with an old companion and a family who Javier loves dearly.
We had a great time meeting all these wonderful families that opened their homes to our sweet boy Javier. We are so grateful for the love he has for those in this country. We are especially glad we made the trek out here to walk in his shoes and explore alongside him. This has been an adventure. I m so tired and ready to see my babies back at home but will never forget the greatness I encountered while in Costa Rica. What a way to end a beautiful trip.

Off to our hotel for a some sleep and then off to an early morning flight back to LAX then a drive to San Diego. The kids are all going to surprise Javier at the airport. He thinks they are catching up with us in San Diego. He will be so HAPPY! ME TOO!
