STAYCATION

Mr D had a day off and instead of working on that Honey-do list we thought getting out of the house and playing a San Diego tourist would be more fun. The kids thought was probably more like "right on, no schoolwork today." We headed out without an itinerary. On our way down south we stopped at Jamba Juice. Let me just add that I have not had any since I couldn't hold it down while pregnant with Elly. Once it comes up my mind has a hard time letting it back down. Hey, I went for it, took the plunge and ordered a Razzmataz and shared it with my beautiful girls. For the record it stayed down and was quite good. So new memories were created today. Jamba Juice has a new customer. Then it was off to Seaworld. That's where the wind was taking us. Actually if there was wind it may have taken us there but the 100 degree weather took us to the water rides. Now that School is in session there was absolutely no lines anywhere in the park. We have been members for almost a year now and we never stopped to see the Clydesdale. Today we did and Elly touched it's mouth and it freaked which caused me to jump and BAM Elly is afraid of horses now. **Sigh**

of course Analise is now tall enough now to ride all the rides. The excitement she feels is expressed by saying " I waant to go on a water ride, can we pleeeease" over and over again.


Hot days call for lots of water rides and soaking wet clothes. We also loved just exploring the park.

We stopped and watched the dolphins and this one came to visit Analise and she flipped around an almost ran out of there. Soon after that there was a huge crowd coming to say hi to him.

Next water ride Elly and I had fun soaking them with a water gun. Then they made me go on it. oh well, it was REALLY hot.

Where do we go from here? Well we are in San Diego so let's go beach exploring. We headed to La Jolla for some beach fun. My girls are afraid of the waves so we went to one that was a lot calmer for them.


Now we can't have a staycation without a little turmoil along the way. We had Gabe with a bloody nose and Javier thinking he can take a nap or even just sit there without a prankster coming out of the wood works.


Then we visited yet another beach and really enjoyed the water. The water was pretty warm. I got so sunburned it started to hurt and it was time to call it a day.


and to prove we have had a fun filled summer and to show our beach visits have come to an end is an unamed back. Can you guess who it is?
