HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDREW

One year older and wiser too. If you haven't heard about Elly and her fear of the rodent Chuck E Cheese let me start by saying it still exists. She has calmed quite a bit and can even stand next to him but if he tries to touch her or even looks at her she just gets so tense. Yet our family keeps choosing to celebrate their birthdays there so what can we do.... try to ease her into the idea days before the actual event and put more emphasis on the games rather then the rodent, oh and we sit all the way in the back to be as far away from the stage area as possible.

How come the moms always look happier then the birthday child? I know cause they have to write the check or slide the card whatever is your fancy. So everyone must have a good time or else.


In our family we have our own paparazzi... but as you can see Elly looks very happy..but Chuck E Cheese has not arrived yet.

oh what the heck.. As long as Chuck E Cheese stays on the other side of the room she will participate. Daddy don't leave her side...


turns out her LOVE to dance helped her overcome her fear. She got up with our birthday boy Andrew and danced away.


Andrew we are sending you the best Birthday wishes from our family. We loved celebrating with you and hope for another year of growing that's better then the last.


In the end Elly had a great time but still has no intentions of returning anytime soon.
