What day of the week is it?

My days are blending together. That's summer for ya! Tess decided today was the day we were going to work on center pieces for Lola's 100th birthday celebration. Elly is in one of those stages where she likes to be attached to me and honestly I love those stages. So she joined us on our center piece adventure. We spent the morning looking at various flowers. 

And driving to different stores. 

We ended up with some vases for her fushia party. 

You always think you like or maybe even love to shop till you see others. Tess is a master shopper and Elly at lunch today said "can we go shopping?" Ha! Oh be careful what you ask for. We got home around 2:30 after leaving around 9:30am.  It was just enough time to get a small nap and a clean room then we were off to check out a thrift store for some vases and who knows what other treasures we will find. 

Nora joined us in our adventure and it was so fun. She even tried on a few costumes for next years comic con. 

It was fun. We spent 2 hours in that thrift store. Crazy how time can get away from you. 

Have been hiking in a few days and my body misses it but my mind wants more sleep. I really liked this photo because it reminded me that there are many paths in life but we must make sure a few of them are dirt. Nothing calms me like a good run on a dirt trail.
