Happy Birthday Dad/ Grandpa

As we all gain years or check marks to add to our tally our family wonders "hmm...what do we get so and so for their birthday." Well for Mr.D's father the birthday celebration was to treat his family to a wonderful dinner buffet. It was very delicious thank you very much. However what do you get a man who buys everything he needs...It was a question our household pondered. Finally time got away from us and we opted for the easier approach of giving him money. I bet he was expecting some child's homemade gift ( not that I do that every year ;-)
Well after convincing him to open our card ( since there was money in there) we got this reaction:

oooooohhhh!!!!! Then a big "Your Welcome kiss"

and then proof that the gift idea wasn't a total failure:


I guess everyone has busy lifestyles. It must be a sign of the times. Cause his next gift was...


Yup more money



and stuffing it in the pocket. Don't want to get robbed...after all we are in a casino



and yes oodles and oodles of money ( doesn't it look like grandma is reaching for her share?)



We all were very full and happy to be able to celebrate with family
