It's no lie we love the Scout program. With Javier due for his Eagle this year, Dante a Tenderfoot working towards a second class scout we have been doing it for a very long time. When Gabe turns 11 in March he will be moving up in his ranks and out of the cub scout program. I hope to be moving on to bigger and better adventures with my two girls.
Tonight we had our first Pack meeting for 2010. We started the night with advancements and we are so proud to announce that Gabe has earned his Webelos badge. Yipeeee!!! I get caught up talking to good friends so he had to search for me in the room before the award could be given to him.
He got to pin the mother's pin on me...
Then I got my kiss, well i forced it just a little.
Then he hugged his daddy and shook hands with our Cub-master.
He also earned his religious knot. Which is a huge honor after working so hard to complete the requirements. Then he got to help build the advancement snowman.
Then it was time to let the good times roll.. with sled rides and snowball fights..
The older kids all stood around watching..you know they wanted to join in
We ended the night with Snow..sometimes it got in our mouths..hmmmmm :)
