We had a craft to start with. They each got to make their own doodle book to take home. They laughed and made some very creative work of arts. Analise was so happy, that was my favorite part for sure.
Originally Analise REALLY wanted to have a party at pump it up. It's this warehouse location that is filled with different kinds of jumpies. I just couldn't find it in me to spend that much money for a three hour party. So we negotiated and opted to rent her a very large jumpie. We got it the night before the party and the kids went nuts in that thing. When Mr. D finally shut it down they were drenched in sweat.
Analise was very excited to have a pinata at her party. We put Javier in charge of it, you know he is 18 now and responsibility is a good thing to have, and off they went beating on the poor strawberry.
For our cake we went for the healthier alternative and had Jello cups with some whip cream.
Gift opening time for Analise with all her friends. It was such a fun party and I am so glad she had such a great time.
Then it was time for party number two and three. Javier and his friends started arriving and they lounged in the family room as our family started to arrive to celebrate both Javier turning 18 and Analise turning 6. Okay I know what everyone is thinking or maybe it's just me but YES I totally feel old right now.
Mr. D started the BBQ and we all got ready for the big combo birthday party.
We ate and jumped on the jumpie and we sang Happy Birthday!!

More gift opening, Javier at his age must be hard to shop for. He got all envelopes in front of him. :)
Mr D and I want to thank all of our family and friends for joining us in such a great celebration. We are so grateful for them and all their support in our lives. Our life would be terribly different if we didn't have the love that we get and feel from all of the friends who have touched our lives and the lives of our children and of course the family who ride the roller coaster of life with us.
Now let's all party the night away.
