Sunday family fun day kickoff

It's Sunday family fun day. We started hiking as a family every Sunday. The kids all groan and moan about it but they do it for me and I totally realize that given the choice they would not partake in any hiking experiences. 

I love how our extended family comes out and joins us too! 

When we first arrived at Kit Carson park after a day of fasting, then food and off to this hike we saw a frog jumping around in the grass. Can you see it there? 

We did 3 miles and when we reached the peak it had a view worth stopping for. 

We're going to all sleep good tonight. Whew! Rodd was suppose to meet us but he got off work late but was home to greet us upon arrival. He will be at the next hiking adventure for sure.
